EPIC [Emotions +  Physical + Intellectual + Creative Expression of Self] Summer Group.


A four-week outdoor therapy group helping pre-teens build emotional wellness, self-awareness, and confidence through the EPIC Framework, a model designed to simplify the complex nature of mental health.

[*The 2nd  session includes a hike; participants must be able to hike for up to 1  hour.]

What is EPIC?
E Emotions Developing "Emotional Literacy"-identifying, labeling, and normalizing the full spectrum of feelings AND learning ways to impact our emotions in desired ways.
P Physical Understanding nervous system regulation and the biological needs of the body AND learning ways to impact our physical experiences in desired ways.
I Intellectual Understanding "Brain Needs" including stimulation responses (under vs. over-stimulation) and inner dialogue AND learning ways to impact our brain functioning in desired ways.
C Creative Expression of Self Cultivating self-worth, recognizing personal values, exploring one's role within a community AND learning ways to impact our identity in of Self desired ways.
