Groups

Our Peer Connection Groups are designed to forge connections between teens, kids, and adults. These groups offer a chance for community engagement, enhance self-esteem, and equip participants with the tools needed
for self-expression.

*Do not need to be a Children's Home client. Groups are covered by most insurances including Medicaid.
Sliding scale program is available.

Creative Writing Group

The group will offer young people a creative outlet for self-expression and exploration, emphasizing the benefits of journaling and free writing as therapeutic techniques outside of therapy sessions. This approach will help deepen their understanding of themselves, their values, and their mental health struggles. By utilizing these tools, the group aims to foster strength-based shifts in perspective, empowering youth to creatively navigate and overcome life's challenges.

For: Co-ed - Ages 11-13

Start Date: TBD. Please sign up and we will notify you when the next group starts.

When: Tuesdays - 3:30pm - 4:30pm

LGBTQ+ Group

Group will offer a supportive environment where young people can find safety and acceptance among their peers. It will provide a space for creativity, self-expression, and self-discovery, while also teaching coping strategies for navigating their communities and families. Additionally, participants will learn how to advocate for themselves and others within the LGBTQ+ community.

For: Co-ed - Ages 14-16
